Pete Prellwitz was bitten by the writing bug at an early age and has never been cured. Starting with an awful (but produced!) Thanksgiving play in 4th grade, Pete’s writing skills have fortunately improved over time.
Presently, Pete has a total of ten novels published by Double Dragon Publishing in trade paperback and ebook. with more than a half-dozen anthologies published/distributed by eSpec Publishing. His novel Horizons was selected by Mike Resnick as Best Science Fiction and awarded the 2003 Draco Award. Four of his short stories appear in the anthology Twisted Tails, which won the 2007 Dream Realms. Five of his novels have been finalists in the Epic Awards.
Seven more short stories have appeared in eSpec’s award-winning Defending the Future; the Bad-Ass Faeries; and the Beyond the Cradle anthologies.
Through Earth’s Falstaff Books and Mars’ Enla Publishing, Pete and popular Martian author H.K. Devonshire have introduced the first two Terran editions of Company A (2019) and The Bombala Mines Fast Draw(2020). Two more Martian westerns will follow in 2021.
A native Arizonan, Pete and his wife Bethlynne live in Jeffersonville, PA with their two dachshunds.
